UB-92s/UB-04s, emergency room physicians, radiology

doctors, or any other treating physicians rendering
treatment to client for the MVA.
Contacting clients periodically to determine how
their treatment is progressing and contacting
doctors to find out treatment regimen for client is
progressing and length of treatment; and checking
on their invoices to see that client is not
over-treating for soft tissue injuries.
Preparation of demand package to insurance company
once client has finished treatment regimen and all
medical records/invoices have been received to
begin negotiations for resolution of case.
Preparation of Pre-Authorization Breakdown
Statement to be signed and approved by client so as
to make sure they are in agreement with settlement
amount being offered after checking file for any
Letters of Protections and/or subrogation liens
from any insurance carriers, Medicaid and/or
Medicare and/or BWC.
Discussion with insurance adjusters ordering draft
and release once Pre-Authorization Breakdown
Statement has been properly executed by client and
witnessed.
Preparation of Settlement Agreement to be properly
executed and witnessed, signing of Release and
draft, preparation of trust account checks and
distribution of same to all proper parties.
Posting of all deposits and checks in QuickBooks;
managing accounts receivables and accounts payable.
Banking.
Faxing and mailing of properly executed Releases to
insurance company issuing the draft in full and
final settlement of claim.
Dictation of correspondence, pleadings, memos, etc.
Answering of telephones and taking care of clients'
needs and questions.
