End to end responsibility for the Bank's Overdraft and Letter of Credit

Approval Systems (VSAM/CICS), with

over 7000 active users nationwide. Applications provided bank officers with

a complete bank-wide picture

of customer, his/her relationships, credit exposure, and several

administrative functions, which enabled their

informed credit decision:

. Directly interfaced with upper and middle management of business units,

credit administration, interfacing applications, and various operating

areas, enabling identification and definition of the information needs of

all stakeholders.

. Led applications through multiple successful merger integrations and

conversions, more than tripling the functionality of the applications

without adverse impact on response time or run times.

. Maintained and updated internal entitlements functionality of

applications resulting in compliance with changing business and

compliance rules.

. Gathered requirements, prepared specs, managed testing of changes with

users, consulted with enterprise-wide Information Security group,

resulting in coordination of access rules; and provided post-

implementation support to the line of business administrators, ensuring

proper access was granted to users.

. Led group responsible for the Branch Accounting subsystems of the bank's

international, multicurrency Money

Management and Dealing System (IDMS/CICS), from user requests through

production support. Functions included batch backvaluation, customer

statements, General Ledger and account posting transaction generation, on-

line voucher entry, customer balance inquiry, mini Foreign Exchange

vouchers.

. Coordinated enhancements to the DDA portion of Branch Accounting, such as

on-line statement history, tiering of Interest rates, automatic charges,

and holds on funds.

. Involved in every phase of the project cycle: user interviews, analysis,

design, data base changes, and functional specifications.

. Maintained development and production CICS regions, including start-up

JCL, modifications to internal CICS tables, new releases of software

packages to meet upgrade timelines.

. Maintained and enhanced the Master File Maintenance subsystem - a menu

driven series of interlocking modules handling full edit, inquiry, add,

delete, and update functions.

. Scheduled assignments, coordinated subordinates, and hired staff.
