Western is an independent petroleum refiner and marketer headquartered in
El Paso, Texas (formally Giant Industries, British Petroleum and Amoco Oil
Company)
Supports Operations and Optimization department with emphasis on raw
material and product transfer reconciliation including product transfer
quantities made via barges and ships
Receive 180,000 barrels of raw products per month with a dollar value of
$125 - $150 million
Sold $250 million of finished product per month
Organizes, collects and analyzes sensitive and confidential data
concerning barge and ship movements and confirm quantities of all barrels
received and sold in a timely matter
Work with inspectors to rectify complex situations and discrepancies
while recommending corrective action
Compiles pertinent data and reports from various internal and external
sources for verification information
Review final reports and all documentation for movements for accuracy and
