Power Plant Shift Leader August 1990 to April 1994

? Government contract - industrial maintenance and power

plant maintenance and operation.

? Implemented a maintenance schedule for eight EMD Diesel

engines and connected generators.

? Supervised four technicians in all aspects of power plant

operations.

? Overhauled four of the eight engines, created the work

schedule plan, prepared standard replacement parts prior to

disabling engine. Average down time was 3 weeks (previous

overhauls had taken 3-6 months)

? Maintained a large compressed air system.

? Maintained forklift, articulating front end loader, high

reach truck, medium sized crane, fixed crane, diesel

powered air compressor, and all other equipment used to

maintain the power plant and the entire radar site.
