Designed and developed an application called CATS (Customer Accounting

Tracking System) for Lee,Oh&Noh PPL. The application used SQL Server and

PFC for PowerBuilder 10 and it was designed to track the customer's

monthly, quarterly and yearly based tax payment status and also functioned

as a payroll program to calculate employees' earnings. The application

collated data from multiple sources to generate meaningful reports. All

complicated business rules were handled by NVO and Most reports were

generated by many Functions, Stored Procedure and Views.

Asset Management System (called Manage+) is a web based application

utilizing a client server framework.

Manage+ utilized PB 10.1.2, Sybase EA server 4.2.2, Enterprise Application

Framework (EAF) 4.0, and an Oracle Database ( PL/SQL) . Client site pages

were generated by PHP. Order Entry (OE) System was responsible for

tracking emails within the corporate network, and uploading email

attachments into the Manage+ database on a nightly basis. OE also

transmitted confirmation emails to the client upon successful archiving of

email attachment. Most reports were generated by many Stored Procedure and

Views.

Procure+ was a feature-rich eProcurement solution with sophisticated

workflow, catalog management, and transaction management capabilities to

manage client's entire purchasing process. Procure+ utilized JSP for

generating dynamic web pages depend on business logic, and all logic was

handled by EJB. Also P+ utilized JAVA EE and Oracle Database.

3/2000 - 1/2001

Designed and Developed an application called ABS (Advertising Business

System) on behalf of The Washington Post. The application which uses Oracle

7.3 (PL/SQL) and PFC for PowerBuilder 6.5, was designed to track customer

advertisements, order information, and to generate bills/statements for

advertisers. The ABS application used many Oracle packages and views and

most calculation logic is maintained by NVO.

3/1999 - 2/2000

Designed and developed two applications, FMS (Finance Management System)

and DSS (Dept. Serving System) using Sybase 11 and PFC for PowerBuilder

5.0.2. The application tracked the lowest bid rates based on the dealer's

commitment and distributed the total commitment amount to 12 different

banks. This application used more than 1200 stored procedures and 4

different databases located in a Unix environment. The application focused

on aculeate calculation and maintained all data through Stored Procedures.

Responsibilities included designing and coding objects, creating Stored

Procedures and maintaining existing Stored Procedures, fixing existing code

and training end users.

9/1998-3/1999

Developed five different Y2K Client compliant applications using

PowerBuilder 5.0 and Oracle ( PL/SQL) back-end. All applications were

developed with PFC using MCI's own corporate layer, making all applications

object-oriented.

Responsibilities included technical evaluation of all source code and

Stored Procedures, technical support for the setup application and database

connectivity, correction of all application errors and recompiling and

distributing the corrected application

2/1998 - 8/1998

Developed an application called, Local Order Entry (LOE) which supported a

centralized order entry function within LCI. Developed in PowerBuilder 6.0

using objects and functionally compliant with PFC, OOP and Oracle( PL/SQL).

Application also used Tree Structure and three levels of TabPages and many

objects. Responsibilities included creating the Base Frame for the

application, developing more than 30 NVO's utilizing the inner most

Tabpage, and coding Stored Procedures for system error checking and fields

validation.

1/1997-1/1998

Developed an application called, Interfaced Budget Execution and Account

Management System (IBEAMS): IBEAMS is a GOTS product developed for the

Defense Medical Program Activities Financial Management Office (DMPA/FMO),

to manage the internal finances of all monetary funds within its

headquarters. IBEAMS supports the Financial Management Office in the

processes of funds allocation, execution, and, budgeting. The application

was developed in Power Builder 5.0 and utilized DDE to transfer data from

Power Builder to Excel spreadsheets. The back-end consisted of the INFORMIX

On-Line Dynamic Server database. Some modules of IBEAMS were developed

using PFC. The concept of storing and retrieving Binary Large Objects

(BLOBS) was used in the application as well. Responsibilities included

coding various modules of the application using Power Builder. Also,

debugged and troubleshot technical problems in the application as well as

provided technical support to the end-users.

Programmer/Analyst: Computer Based Systems, Inc. (CBSI), Fairfax, VA

1/1994-1/1997

Developed three different applications:

Toxic Chemical Release Inventory Systems: This application kept track of

all toxic chemical release from various facilities. The system was a

multiple document interface containing approximately 30 windows and using

100 database tables. This was implemented using base class objects,

functions, and inheritance methods. Responsibilities included working on

the conversion of the application from Clipper 5.0 to Power Builder 4.0.

Validated all data entry fields using embedded SQL to retrieve information

from the database. Also, generated reports for the EPA and established the

Graphical User Interface standards. Developed and maintained the base

objects.

Length of Service Awards Program (LOSAP): This application kept track of

the Volunteer's active status, service years, retirement payments, and data

exchange between coordinator and administration sites. The system generated

over 30 reports displaying all LOSAP information. Responsibilities included

Designing and developing the database system for the fire and rescue

volunteers in Montgomery County. Also, provided end-user technical

support.

National AIDS Fund Database System: This application kept track of the

organization and management information on National AIDS grants, grant-

makers, and fund-providers. This was implemented using Microsoft Access

database and object-oriented analysis and design using Info Model.

Responsibilities included designing the database system using Info Model.

Also, developed the front-end using Microsoft Access.
