Technical Project Manager
Responsible for the application and system architecture, cost, schedule, metrics, reporting, use case development,
integration and acceptance testing, and deliverables for all efforts. I provided coaching and mentoring to the managers
and development teams. I was responsible for interacting with high-level client management and maintaining client
relationships while liaising between DoD management, other project teams, DoD agencies and organizations, and
vendors.
I Led multiple multi-disciplinary application development teams ranging from 5 to 80 core personal for DFAS, both
locally and overseas. I managed the application development, schedules, Labor budgets from .5 million to170 million
and deliverables for financial, material management/distribution, contract, accounting, hr, and payroll applications. I
Led development of common services for the DFAS applications.
These applications encompassed Mainframe, Mid-tier, NT, Client server/LAN, C2G,B2B and B2G Electronic
Commerce/EDI, WEB, Security, Decision Support Systems/Data Warehouse and Document Imaging projects for the US
military both domestically and internationally. Developed customer service policies outlining how the development
teams were to interact with external DoD agencies, business clients, vendors, and other project teams.
Developed first DoD web portal (Coins) for the dissemination of vendor billing and invoice information. I was
responsible for and led all facets of system life cycle development process using CMM and PMI/PMBOK processes.
