To Whom it May Concern,
I graduated from Neumann College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary, Early
Childhood, and Special Education. Since beginning college, I have focused my education and
student teaching experiences to complement my degree in Education. These ventures have
provided me with both a strong academic background and practical experiences in the field of
education. I am interested in applying my newly acquired knowledge and skills for the teacher
assistant position with your school.
I am very confident that the teaching abilities that I developed in college and through my practical
experiences working with at-risk children and students with special needs will enable me to meet
the challenges of any task assigned. During student teaching, I was able to use a variety of
teaching strategies and differentiated instruction to successfully meet the diverse needs of my
students.
My academic preparation and practical experiences are further enhanced by the fact that I am a
motivated, conscientious and hard working individual. My college career, student teaching
accomplishments and life experiences have provided me with the knowledge and insight that will
enable me to contribute to your school’s goal of academic excellence for all students.
Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to hearing from you regarding an opportunity
for an interview.
I may be reached by phone at 215-***-**** or by email at abk28u@r.postjobfree.com.
Sincerely,
Caitlin Peiffer
