Job Describtion

Inspection of material, verify mill certificate and classification society approval certificate

Ensure the work carried out complies with international construction code, client specifications, project specifications, work instructions, procedure and manuals as appropriate.

Coordinate and liaise with client and classification societies, third party inspection agencies, project Superintendents and other trades, to ensure that rework is carried out to customer satisfaction.

Make sure specially for materials extra high strength grade joint preparation, preheat and interpass have to maintain comply to WPS and code.

Monitor welding consumable are stored and preservated properly, make sure welding machine maintenance certificate is valid.

Walk down with client or class for Fit up and visual inspection as per schedule and review DC report before and after welding.

Perform and carry out in-process and final inspections in shop and onboard

Prepare MDR, acceptance release note, tank test status report.

Monitor NDT records is completed prior any testing and closed NCR if any, ensure repair taken comply to procedure

Participation in work identification and monitor WQT.
