As a bus driver, I was responsible for transporting

passengers for at least 8 hours a day.

As a collector, I was responsible for currency

inventory and station info'

As a Hub Monitor, I was responsible for monitoring

all security computers and reporting to the office

of Dispatch Supervisor.

As a coordinator, I was responsible for scheduling

service technicians for the automated fare system,

scheduling customer service agents, scheduling

overtime, and payroll.

As a CSA, I was responsible for customer inquiries

and AFC equipment in any number of stations.

As a schedule maker, I was part of a team that was

responsible for creating work schedules for over

3000 employees based on contract rules, safety

regulations and budget constraints.

I retired from the MBTA in 2008 thinking I would be able to live off my

pension, but with two grown daughters and 3 grand children moving back

home, I really need to get back into the workforce.

I worked part time off and on for Raydar Security as a

supervisor, office manager, did night bank drops, and did

road supervisor work. I also orked many sites from retail

establishments to construction sites to personal security.

I built houses with my father for a living. I had to learn

job estimating, figure material needs, figure job cost

and do payroll. We built four or five houses when I decided

I needed a job with health insurance to cover my ever

growing family.

During the day in the winter, I delivered home heating oil,

and diesel fuel to the transportation industry.

{8/87-11/91}

I delivered fuel oil on winter days, drove an MBTA bus at

night and worked at the car rental agency on the weekends.

On summer days, I delivered wholesale meats. I did this

until I became full time at the MBTA.

I am adept at building and repairing computers and laptops, I still also

help friends with their home repairs and remodeling.

I have a cdl class B with passenger and tank endorsements.
