Qualifications
I am experienced in motel management as well as having strong customer
service skills and cash handling experience. I have over 15 years
experience working in an Office setting. Answering multi-line phones and
routing calls accordingly. I am experienced with Microsoft Office programs,
such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Works, and various other computer
software programs. My typing is approximately 45wpm and 10-key by touch.
I am very detail oriented and good at multi-tasking. I am a dependable
hard worker and can work well either alone or with co-workers.

My responsibilities included: Answering incoming calls, logging the calls
on a call log and entering the calls into the computer. Dispatching the
call via radio to the appropriate Security Officer in a timely fashion and
recording their arrival and departure times from the dispatched call.
Generating a daily report outlining the calls from the previous night,
proofreading and sending the Officer's reports to appropriate clients,
generating and distributing monthly reports outlining the number of calls
per customer, filing, sending account update requests to customers once a
month as needed, and various other duties as required.

My responsibilities included: Handling the day to day operations of a
motel including customer service, answering incoming calls, taking
reservations and pre-authorizing credit cards to hold motel room, as well
as checking people into rooms and running the motel store. Checked all up
coming reservations for accuracy. I counted all money taken in on previous
day and added any credit card receipts and compared it to the daily report
that I prepared with room rates and tax rate as well as store sales for
previous day to ensure all monies were correctly collected for store sales
and rooms rented the previous night. I then figured each days
housekeeping hours and assigned rooms to housekeepers accordingly. I
checked rooms for cleanliness and made sure they were properly stocked, and
housekeeping when needed. Supervised an assistant management team and two
housekeepers, plus various other duties as needed.
