• Assess the physical and emotional status of patients daily and provide quality care and education to patients and
their families.
• Deliver the prescribed dose of radiation accurately and efficiently to each patient while documenting treatment
doses, SSD values, patient shifts and diode readings.
• Critique image data for accurate alignment.
• Communicate effectively with all members of the treatment team.
Reading Health System-Radiologic Technology Student/Mammography and Radiography Extern
• Assess needs of patients during examination and provide quality care and education.
• Complete general diagnostic, tomographic and fluoroscopic procedures with critical review of image quality as
well as taking extensive detailed histories of mammography patients and documenting the information.
