Responsibilities:

. Inspecting and maintaining quality standards for incoming raw

materials, equipments, ensuring stringent adherence to quality

standards, norms & practices identifying gaps and taking corrective

action.

. Preparation of ITP and QAP as per code/Specification requirements.

. Preparation and Reviewing of WPS, PQR & WPQ; Witnessing PQR &

Qualifying Welder.

. Review of radiographic films, PWHT reports, PMI reports, hardness test

reports and line history sheet and other NDE reports.

. Checking the pre heat requirement & PWHT as per the WPS, witnessing &

reviewing PWHT charts

. Conduct stage wise inspection as per ITP and prepare the stage wise

inspection reports to get clearance from TPI & PMC.

. Day-to-day functioning of Quality department and co-ordination of

inspection activities with Client, TPIA and sub-contractor on quality

matter.

. Preferred knowledge in ASME sections for design, materials & welding,

ASTM Codes for materials, British & Indian Standards.

. Piping Inspection according to ISOMETRIC drawing.

. Witnessing Pneumatic tests and Hydro tests.

. Monitoring the QA/QC documentation of subcontractors and ensure that

all activities are incorporated to their system on daily basis and can

be traced according to project requirement.

. Ensure compliance on all stage and final inspection requirements as per

approved QAP, Weld Plan, Drawings and procedures.

. Ensuring that Subcontractor's have and utilize adequate procedures,

plans and resources to provide equipment, materials and services that

will conform to the requirements of the project specification.

. Control all nonconformance reports regarding materials & stage

Inspections and undertake remedial action.

. Daily co-ordination with contractors and sub contractors.

. Assure all technical documents relative to site quality control are

current status.

. Conducting regular Process, Line and Internal Audits and Reviews to

ensure adherence to pre-set norms; ensure conformance across all
