Experience

•Auditing: Conduct internal control audits on assessable units within a Finance Office and Comptroller

Department to include travel, pay, separations, contracts, government charge card program, and personal

identifiable information. Conduct audits on outside organizations to include a Child Development Center,

School Age Care Program, Youth and Teen Center, Family Child Care Program, and Resource and

Referral Program. Presented audit information in written form at the conclusion of audit to the customer.

•Teaching: Conduct training for small and large groups (in excess of 100 people) of personnel to include

third country nationals (Japanese). Conduct policy training and computer systems training. Responsible

for the development of an automated banking system in a combat theater, which services over 10,000

service members.

•Supervising: Instruct, supervise, and evaluate the performance of groups up to 50 personnel to include

military, civilian, and third country nationals. Responsible for the personal and professional development

of 63 Marines and 3 civilians in garrison and forward deployed to an austere environment. Duties

include, but are not limited to creating and supervising individual development plans and individual

performance metrics.

•Performance Metrics: Establish performance metrics, collect data, and present performance metrics to

higher headquarters.

•Computer Usage: Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel on a daily basis. Have experience with database

software and computer aided drafting software (simple drawings of buildings and machine parts).

•Problem Solving: Experience in customer service relations, troubleshooting computer software interface

irregularities, and identifying balance sheet irregularities.

•Investigating: Experience in conducting investigations for violations in policies to include hazing,

hostile working environment, and missing property.

•Workplace Safety: Experience with the development and enforcement operational risk management in

the workplace to include risk identification and developing risk mitigation plans.
