Reestablishing myself into the workforce after a 17 year absence of child

PROFILE:
I have been a stay at home parent since 1992 which has enabled me to focus
on the support and development of my family. I am skilled at organizing,
coordinating and scheduling, as well as, proficient at creating forms and
some spreadsheets using MS Publisher, MS Works, MS Word and MS Excel. My
previous work experience includes receptionist and secretarial positions in
which I was responsible for data entry, payroll administration, personnel
file maintenance, report auditing and general front office duties. I am
computer literate, adaptable and not intimidated by new technology. I am
willing to learn.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
2000-2005 Home Bound Missions, Seneca, South Carolina
Volunteer Director
I directed the development of Home Bound Missions from an individual
operated nonprofit program to a fully staffed volunteer outreach program
which delivered 180 meals to elderly home bound residents.
Responsibilities included recruiting volunteers, creating volunteer
positions, writing job descriptions and coordinating volunteers for driving
routes and kitchen detail. I created the marketing communications and
driving matrix utilizing MS Excel, MS Word and MS Works.

I was responsible for covering shifts on short notice due to employee
absenteeism. Practice sanitary food preparation, serving and clean up for
the school cafeteria programs and support the department manager.
