Title:- Drug Eluting stent for atherosclerosis using Polylactic Acid (PLA) mesh:-

- The stent was modeled in CAD/CAM technology and was subjected to flow analysis In ANSYS.

- A prior simulation was conducted computationally to see the integrative and predict the activity for

the stent in In-vivo environment.

- After which as part of in-vitro studies the dissolving rate, drug eluting rate and the cross-linking

were characterized.

- In animal studies were performed on Wister rats, these catheters were placed in induced artery

arteriosclerosis using balloon catheter method and the interaction with the drug eluting stent were

used as clinical data.
