SAP ABAP HR, Resource of Data Migration team.
Responsibilities:
. This was a Big IBM Project which consisted on the Implementation of
SAP Human Resources in 15 IBM sites located in 15 European countries.
. My participation on this project was as part of the Data Migration
Team. I was on charge of the Migration of the Organizational
Management Module (OM). This involved the development of migration
programs (BDC Load programs mostly) for the various OM Info Types such
as: Positions, Roles, Jobs and Assignment of the employees to the
Positions, making sure that the Organizational Structure was migrated
as planned.
. Three Test Cycles prior the Deployment were performed, during which
the OM Data needed to be migrated: Load Programs, Deletion Programs
(To be able to "undo" undesired job assignments) and validation
programs respectively were developed and executed by me in order to
accomplish this task.
. During this period I was based on IBM Mexico, working remotely with
IBM Raleigh NC and interacting with IBM CEMA (Europe) country
representatives.
