offered co-ownership. Left after co-owners offered a buyout of my
stake.
. Wrote approximately 75 percent of the 700 pages of content on VAjoe.
Uploaded and maintained 75 percent of the site's content with a
content management system. Created and implemented viral marketing
campaigns. Hired and supervised freelance and staff writers, remote
discussion-board moderators, and in-house and remote web designers.
Handled all press inquiries, including interviews with CNN, Fox News,

The Center for Distance and Independent Study annually serves 25,000
university and K-12 students across the country by creating and
administering print and online independent-study courses. It is one of
the oldest independent-study providers in the country.
Project managed, edited, and designed online and print independent-
study courses. One of my projects, "Civics: Participating in
Government," received the Meritorious Award in the University
Continuing Education Association (the field's largest professional
organization) 2004 competition for outstanding K-12 course.
