• Led initiatives to re-architect the company’s Process Asset L ibrary (PAL) and
re-wri te the Organization Standard Process (OSP) in preparation for the
i ni tial Capability Matu ri ty Model In tegrated (CMMI) appraisal.
• As the Software Engineering Process Group (SEPG)/Integrated Process
G roup (IPG) Lead, led and coordinated process improvement activities that
enabled the company to achieve Software CMM Levels 2, 3 and 4 and CMMI
Level 3. As the Engineering Operations Senior Manager was a key player in
company’s effort in achieving CMMI Levels 4 and 5.
• Used six sigma statistical process control tools and methods to establish and
monitor programs process performance and to predict the organization’s
p rocess capability.
• Help defined and lead Structured Improvement Activities (e.g., Value Stream
M ap, Kaizen, projects) that utilized lean principles to reduce costs, and

P roject M anagement & Functional Management
• Managed costs, schedules, personnel and technical activities for several $5M+
p rojects (e.g., three Towed Array Sonar Systems, Global Telemeter Seismic
Network, Landsat image analysis, etc.). Directed and supervised up to 15
engineers including contract engineers. Designed software system
a rchitecture for real-time distributed, and client server applications.
• Engineering Operations: a project engineering senior manager leading the
m ulti-function Engineering Operations & Governance Department.
Departmental responsibilities include engineering excellence, business
operations, configuration & data management, measures collection & metric
generation, design produce-ability, engineering tools, learning &
development, leadership development programs, etc. at Lockheed Martin in
B altimore, Maryland.
• Software Engineering: Managed a section, consisting of 29 direct report
software developers, responsible to four different programs at Lockheed
M art in in Glenn Burnie, Maryland, and a Software Unit at General Election
i n Lanham, Maryland.
• Responsible for technical direction, coordination, resource allocation, process,
design and implementation integri ty, and for making administrative
decisions on how the work will be accomplished within the constraints of
