experience in the field of mechanical design and drafting.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

PARKER HANNIFIN CORPORATION, Filtration and Separation Division,

Baltimore, MD (1994-2010)

CAD Designer/Parts Manager. Developed piping and instrument, plan

and elevation drawings for nitrogen delivery systems used in food, mining

and off-shore oil rig applications and lab facilities. Developed

standardized drawings for different-sized nitrogen delivery systems.

Worked in 2-D Autocad.

As Parts Manager, handled customer orders for replacement parts for

the systems developed and sold. Was responsible for researching parts

needed, ordering from vendors, pricing and shipment to customers. Required

frequent customer service interaction via phone and e-mail.

BECHTEL POWER CORPORATION, Frederick, MD (1990-1994)

Designer. Plant Design Layout Group. Worked in 2-D Intergraph

Microstation CADD. Updated piping systems in nuclear power plants with

extensive field work surveying existing systems for needed modifications.

Responsible for taking engineering sketches of piping and instrument

diagrams and developing CADD-generated drawings.

NASH M. LOVE AND ASSOCIATES, INC., Springfield, VA (1985-1990)

Drafting Supervisor/Designer. Developed plumbing, HVAC and fire

protection systems in large institutional and residential buildings and

museums. Worked closely with mechanical engineers in developing finished

drawings and meeting deadlines. Performed field surveys to examine

existing installations and make recommendations for new systems. Worked

closely with building facility managers.
