Alcoa implemented Hyperion BPM suite of applications globally for

their BU and Corporate Planning & Forecasting needs. This is the one

of the biggest Hyperion implementations using almost all the

Hyperion BPM suite products viz. Hyperion Planning, Hyperion

Essbase, Financial Reports, Web Analysis, FDM, EIS, and HFM. The

actual data from OLTP systems was collected, cleansed, transformed

into Data warehouse build using Oracle Apps. Hyperion Planning

applications were developed at BU level for department level

at certain high level. Again once Planning or forecasting is

complete in BU applications, they push forecast data into GDW at

certain high level. This is loaded into Global Planning application
