Ph.D. in (Instrumentation) Physics: University of Houston, Houston, Texas, December 2012

• Research: Quantum Mechanisms of Density Wave Transport. (Advisor Dr. John H. Miller)

A study of density wave electron transport properties on needle-like crystals of niobium triselenide (NbSe3). The work

involved a theory (computer simulations using the Schrödinger equation), experiments (electrical transport

measurements (LabVIEW FPGA)) and design (low pressure cryogenic system), which led to a new development in the

quantum picture of electron transport.

sensor and an impedance analyzer with a custom build operational amplifier circuit and lock-in amplifier. Simulate

the field distribution using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) method (using COMSOL Multiphysics).
