JOB PROFILE:

Working as an PROCESS INCHRGE for PM-2&3, The Andhra Pradesh Paper Mills

Limited, Rajahmundry. Since SEP 2011

NATURE OF JOB:

Working as a PROCESS INCHARGE for PM-2&3 bearing the sole responsibility

for the production and quality of the end product.

Maintaining ISO Standards.

Optimum utilization of resources like steam, Power & Water.

Handling workmen efficiently for maximum production and quality.

Monthly preparing down time report, calculating ROP and machine efficiency.

Participating daily production meetings.

Participating monthly cost reduction meetings.

Participating daily MWS meeting and reduce machine downtime.

Participating Technical review meetings.

Daily monitoring order services.

Maintaining good relationship with other departments.

ABOUT THE MACHINES:

The capacity of the machine MF (ANUJA) is about 140TPD with speed of 500MPM

and producing large varieties of printing and writing papers & various gram

ages from 60GSM to 250 GSM and Surface Sized Paper also. Recently the

machine was rebuilt with DUOFORMER by VOITH.

In MF machines we are making varieties of copier grades papers like

Andhramillenium copier, Reflection, Copyrite, Royalsilk etc.

We are making nearly 30 grades of papers with different GSMs on same

machines.

Recently we made one project; we are collecting all vacuum pumps sealing

water in one tank and send that water to one cooling tower to reduce the

temperature of sealing water, and that water was re using due that fresh

water consumption was reduced.

The capacity of the machine MG (AGRAJA),board machine is about 95 TPD with

speed of 200MPM and producing large varieties of papers like coating base

papers,stiffnerpapers, and board and various gram ages from 90GSM to 250

GSM.

The main parameters of the machine were controlled by an online QCS System

supplied by M/s.ABB LTd..

ACHIEVEMENTS:

. Zero accidents since 4 years

. Reduced water consumption from 38 m3/Ton of paper to 18m3/Ton of paper.

. Reduced rejections from 78 Mt to 45Mt in last year.

. Reduce steam consumption from 3.3 T/Ton of paper to 2.5 T/Ton of paper.

. Increased clothing life by continuous monitoring of clothing cleaning

system.

. Serve the order in time and reached OTIF target from 50% to 83%.

. Increased Ash levels by 2% compared to last year.

. Reduced power consumption from 700KWH/T to 600KWH/T.

. Good housekeeping.

. Reduced finishing losses from 12% to 8.0%.

. Achieved record production on PM 3 in November2012

. Achieved record production on PM2 in December 2012
