I am pursuing a career in physical therapy and am seeking a position as an aide in your office. My
resume is enclosed for your review. I have experience and training in massage therapy. Given my related
experience and excellent capabilities I would appreciate your consideration for any job openings you may
have for aides. My skills are an ideal match for this position.
In July 2000 until March 2001, I attended Massage Training Institute. I received a certificate in
Swedish massage after finishing a 200 hour program of classroom time and internship. I also received a
certificate in chair massage. Currently, I am enrolled in Cerro Coso Community College taking general
education courses and will be attempting to enter a physical therapy assistant program in fall 2012. I have
also taken Medical Terminology last semester.
I am willing to start out in a part time position and work up to a full time position when the
opportunity presents itself. My objective is to become an assistant and will be taking the appropriate
classes to obtain the license of Physical Therapy Assistant. In the meantime, I would like to find a
position as an aide.
