Job Description

I am currently working as a System Administrator managing hosting servers

(RedHat, CentOS)

running Apache, RoR, DNS, Exim, MySQL, FTP, PHP, control panels cPanel/WHM

and VPS

hardware nodes. I assist customers in deploying their application on live

servers. This includes basic setup of the user applications, installing

dependencies, loading database etc.

Duties and Responsibilities

. Managing and monitoring hosting servers and VPS.

. Dealing with DNS change requests.

. Monitor server using tools like Nagios.

. Monitor the server performance for identifying heavy resource

consuming customers and take remedial actions.

. Performing server moves in order to balance the usage across

servers.
