A Few Highlights

Branding Campaigns: Worked with agency to develop, coordinate, implement

and track two, multi-million dollar branding campaigns. Independent market

research showed organization made great strides in awareness and

preference, including becoming first to be named during "Top of Mind"

Awareness.

Media Relations Strategy and Execution: Created story pitch for great

American brand W.R. Case to branch out to national men's consumer

publications. At the end of 12-month campaign, PR efforts reaped nearly $1

million in comparable ad value placement and more than 7 to 1 ROI.

People Management: Managed marketing department for comprehensive health

system. Also worked closely with C-level executives, service line directors

and other staff and external groups, including physicians, vendors and

donors.

Corporate Spokesperson: Served as corporate spokesperson for comprehensive

healthcare system. Also underwent crisis communication training.

Event Planning: Planned events, including 2005 grand opening for $100

million, 72-bed Women's and Children's Hospital. Opening targeted

employees/physicians and the community. Before facility opened, exposed

more than 2,000 (1,200 community members; 1,000 employees and physicians)

to the facility through "sneak preview" tours.

Creative Ideas: Developed PR campaign to celebrate Knoxville advertising

agency's 50-year anniversary. Selected five local charities, allocated

$10,000 budget to develop events/donations. In addition to tremendous

goodwill, generated publicity in Adweek, PR Tactics, Knoxville News-

Sentinel, and Knox-area broadcast TV.

Publications: Overhauled newsletter into a magazine and doubled

distribution, targeting business and community leaders and donors.
