PROJECT DETAILS

Electronic Security System for Bank Lockers using GSM.

Project Title

The project is developed to implement a locker with high security system

but simple mechanism of RFID based lockers which gives us more

security. The bank provides the RFID to the customers who want the

Lockers. The operation is that if a customer wants to access his locker

then he shows the RFID to the tag reader located on the locker and the

tag reader which is located on the locker reads the RFID. The

microcontroller which is connected to the locker after showing the RFID

to the tag reader generates random password and that password is sent

through GSM to the mobile phone of the user who wants to access the

locker. That password is only accessible one time, so there is no

problem in remembering the password. Then we have to feed that

password through the keypad to locker and the relay switch is activated

after reading the password which opens the locker. The microcontroller

compares the passwords entered by the keyboard and received through

mobile phone. IF these passwords are correct the the microcontroller

provides necessary control signal to open the locker. Alarm will turn on

whenever the door is forced to open. It is a low cost, low in power

consumption, compact in size and standalone system.
