Work History

Zachry Industrial: Construction of CCEC Power Plant for F.P.and L. in Brevard County Fl. Worked on balance of plans fitting pipe. Most work

was conducted on the steam turbine until first fire. Afterward my crew was shifted through out the power block making repairs or installations

where needed. Also conducted progress evaluations by checking p and id’s.

Manchester Copper Tubing:

Troubleshooting repair and maintenance of all machinery throughout plant. Systems included electric, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic

applications. Duties included coordination with production staff, scheduling repairs, rapid response and work, fabrication and welding. Many

repairs dealt with tolerances in the ten thousandths. Also worked on call duty during twenty four hour shifts and worked swing shifts.

Florida Bow Thrusters:

Installation of bow thrusters, stern thrusters, and hydraulic swim platforms, batteries and battery chargers. Also integrating these components into

existing A/C and D/C voltage systems already present on vessels. Installation of hydraulic bow thrusters up to 18,000 P.S.I. on to existing drive

engines in larger vessels. The job required travel throughout North and South America. Most often driving to destinations on multiple project trips.

CLP Staffing:

Site foreman hired to manage CLP staff in the construction of a thirty seven thousand array panel solar power plant designed to provide power to

the Space Center. My duties were to maintain a labor force of up to thirty seven personnel. Create teams to perform a multitude of different tasks

simultaneously, including assembly of panel brackets, and movement of assembled panels to torque bars. Design spacing and attach panels to bars

and torque them using proper specifications. Wiring and labeling of all panels. Installation of cable trays to array supports. Measure cut and route

all heavy cable. Inspect cable for damage and performance test. Label and bury cable using proper bedding techniques. Attend power up and hand

site over to FPL.

Retained as lead electrician on other jobs to remove old lighting and replace with highly efficient T-5 florescent fixtures.

Maronda Homes:

Service electrician for north Brevard County. Conducted inspections on multifamily and single family structures to insure national electrical code

and local codes standards are met. Made corrections where necessary. Accompany local inspectors during walk through inspections on both rough

stage and power up inspections. Carried out duties in occupied homes when issues arose making repairs or changes as ordered.

Secure Alarms of Brevard:

Operations manager. Conducted first phase interviews to determine technical qualifications of applicants. Schedule installations and service calls.

Maintain stock of materials, manuals, and hours of techs. Conducted inspections of completed jobs to insure company standards were met.

Attended meetings with sales staff to resolve technical issues or to close sales. Also designed system layouts on larger projects to include security,

camera and fire annunciation systems.

Palmer Electric:

Low voltage division lead technician. Schedule and maintain a labor force for up to seven projects simultaneously. Projects ranged in number of

personnel. Particular attention was stressed with regard to timelines and material availability. Duties included installation of wiring and devices to

include security, camera, and fire annunciation systems. Programming and testing of systems. Attended manufacturer and new product

development courses.
