Career Overview
I am an electrical estimator with over 15 years’ experience in estimating working on major projects,
with both consultancies and contractors, in the office as well as on site using various estimating
packages . He has been involved with projects all over the world including the France, Germany,
Canada, USA and South Africa as well as Asia and the Middle East. Disciplines include Commercial,
Industrial and Domestic, Rail, Clean and dirty water treatment plants including desalination units.
I moved to Australia in May 2010 and had 1 year 4 months left on a 457 skilled visa, but due to the
company financial problems, having to sell its construction department, I was made redundant at
Christmas, while on holiday in the Philippines. Having only 28 days to find work or leave Australia, I
have had to stay in the Philippines, where I currently live with my Filipino wife but am available for
work anywhere in the world.
Having lived and worked in different country has taught me to understand better different cultures and
different way of life and helped me see how there are many solutions to different problems and given
me a “can do: attitude.
The last few years I have been heavily involved with Rail but am very capable of working on various
different types of projects and am very keen on learning new methods and disciplines.
