Senior System Administrator, 04/2007 – Present

• Experienced Senior System Administrator, currently with BAE Systems, who

worked five years at the Joint Reserve Intelligence Center (JRIC) Fort Leavenworth,

Kansas and is currently working at JRIC Fort Gillem, Georgia, which are two of 28

Joint Reserve Intelligence Program (JRIP) locations in the United States. These are

among the largest and most active JRIP facilities which support intelligence

production for several military commands via their drilling reserve forces.

• Received the JRIP Distinguished Service Award, for significant contributions to the

Fort Leavenworth JRIC as well as the whole JRIP program.

• Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all information technology and

collaborated with other SMEs across the JRIP enterprise ensuring smooth project

rollouts and completions.

• Installed and maintains virtual servers on two classified and one unclassified network

at current site as well as assists with all 28 of the other JRIP sites.

• Ensures Information Assurance (IA) and security patches are installed on the over 230

workstations and servers, including their daily monitoring.

• Experienced with Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, Microsoft Server 2003 and 2008

as well as the Windows XP, and Windows 7 Operating Systems.

• Uses VMware Infrastructure Client to access and monitor status of over 280 virtual

servers.

• Uses VERITAS NetBackup Administration Console to manage all backups for site’s

user data and shared data. Ensures backups are restorable to original locations.

• Managed Global Catalog, DNS, TCP/IP, and DHCP on all facility networks.

• Troubleshoot all networking, hardware, software, and operating system issues as they

arise and resolve them in a timely manner, for both the local site as well as any JRIP

site in the US or for DIA in the world.

material to ensure national intelligence systems incurred no downtime.

operation as the staff specialist working on major network, storage, and security

intelligence websites.

monitoring system to effectively record work accomplishments and pull work

assignments from.

• Installed CAT5 and fiber optic lines, including media converters.

• Provided Project Manager support to the organization as it produced critical

assessments for use by higher level military planners.
