Resident Project Representative

I was responsible for the oversight of the demolition and rebuild of the Thacker Dam on

the Humboldt River. This work Included two concrete bridge structures with diversion

gates for irrigation. I was responsible for the install of 7 7’ * 12’ radial gates and other

slide gates. I was my responsibility to make sure all the concrete structures meet the

specifications for the Pershing County Water Conservation District and engineer. I

assisted the contractor in scheduling all the special inspections and verified all the testing

and inspections of densities, rebar, and concrete.

I inspected the installation and retrofit of 200 + water meters for the Kingsbury General

Improvement District.

I was the lead inspector, overseeing the installation of new water main, new sewer main,

new force main, and new water tank for the City Of Yerington. This work included

directional boring under the Walker River, and the airport runway, along with some D.O.T.

right of way issues.

I was responsible for the code compliance and enforcing the specifications for the city.

Daily field reporting and photos were my responsibility to keep the design engineer

informed of progress.

Public Works Inspector, City Of Fernley Nevada

Inspected the installation of new domestic treated, and raw P.V.C. and Ductile Iron water

lines, including directional bores, fencing, street repair,(asphalt), All associated valves and

piping, Vaults and electrical. Scheduled and supervised all the special inspections for the

projects, including asphalt, concrete, rebar electrical,and densities.

Responsible for code and specifications compliance for the city of Fernley Nv.
