ASSIGNMENTS HISTORY:
M.Tech Project
Project Title Effect of Moisture Variation on Soil Subgrade.
Project Description
Water is normally required in the construction of a road to allow for the proper compaction of the
foundation and of pavement courses of soil, to ensure the attainment of compaction levels upon
which the design is based. However, excess water is the enemy of road foundations and pavements,
and good design ensures that extra water is prevented from entering the road construction. If the
subgrade soil is expansive clay and moisture is allowed to enter the foundation, the deterioration in
the pavement may be exacerbated by damaging subgrade volume changes. The project attempts in
understanding the nature of variation of subgrade strength with water content. Thus, various soil
samples are put to test for their strengths at different moisture contents by soaking them in water
bath for different days.
B.Tech Project
Project Title Design and Analysis of Multistoried Residential Building.
Project Description
According to surrounding environment, human beings want to live in a most decorated and good
oriented building. Generally multistoried buildings are made to save the extra cost for land and space
for building up the foundation. Due to scarcity of land generally ground floor is designed like garage,
due to this arrangement there is no need of providing extra space for parking of vehicles. My project is
on Residential Building which serves human being as their home where they can stay comfortably.
