Senior Buyer and Inventory Planner, 2011 Present

Responsible for managing procurement and planning for key nutritional, supplement and exercise programs. In addition, I am

responsible for planning all inventory and replenishment activities in for all products to support expansion into the

UK and greater Europe. I currently work with key business leaders, creative/art/production directors, and finance

to support cost effective management of the supply chain.

Accomplishments:

• Reduced lead times by 4 weeks on key nutritional category, allowing the company to introduce key formulation changes

on time and with no disruption of supply. Product growth during this project was 5 8 % per week.

• Incorporated key changes to replenishment process allowing the company to support rapid growth into the UK market.

CLEARWIRE CORPORATION –Kirkland, WA

Strategic Sourcing Manager, 2010 2011

Responsible for managing all strategic sourcing activities and contract negotiations for microwave equipment, logistics, fleet, and

all IT (hardware and software) across all of the business units in the company. I also supported all of the

construction teams nationwide in selecting and managing contractors engaged in building a wireless network. In

this capacity, I led several negotiations with new and existing suppliers which have resulted in cost savings of over

$3 million dollars

Accomplishments:

• Negotiated $2.3 million dollars annual savings on microwave radio equipment with strategic supplier.

• Negotiated $270K savings by removing peak season surcharge for all ocean and air inbound freight UPS Global Supply

Chain.

• Identified $40 million in annual savings with Bechtel, our strategic construction management supplier and I am

currently leading the development of a negotiation strategy to deliver this savings for future scope of work.

technologies and software. This included new product introduction, supplier selection, and all sourcing activates

with a primary focus on suppliers based in Asia. In this capacity, I led several negotiations with new and existing

suppliers which have resulted in cost savings of over $2.5 million.

Accomplishments:

• Negotiated $1.7 million dollars annual savings on custom battery packs with key suppliers in Taiwan and China.

• Negotiated $800K annual savings on OEM label printers with strategic supplier in Taiwan.

• Negotiated $200K reduction in tooling expenses with Toshiba Japan on custom LCD display development, while

maintaining exclusivity terms and conditions.

STARBUCKS COFFEE COMPANY – Seattle, WA

Responsible for managing all equipment development activities and existing supplier relationships from concept to contract for

all espresso, drip brewing, grinding, hot water and water treatment equipment that is specified for use in all of the

retail stores globally. In this capacity, I successfully supported key project timelines and led implementation

activities while meeting or exceeding project goals. Using my negotiation skills and by developing and utilizing

sound strategies, I led several negotiations with new and existing suppliers which have resulted in cost savings of

over 9 million dollars over 2 1/2 year period.

Accomplishments:

• Received Starbucks Bravo award for leading negotiations that saved the company $9 million dollars in 20with projected

savings of $50 60 million dollars by 2014.

• Negotiated the return of obsolete espresso equipment which resulted in a credit to the company of 5.5 million dollars.

• Managed the product development and supplier selection for the international version of the Interactive Cup brewer for

SBUX International Foodservice Business.

• Working with the Entertainment business unit, I was a key contributor to the successful opening of Starbucks Musical

Coffeehouses in Florida and Texas.

Commodity Manager, 2000 2003

Managed and performed all aspects of procurement and supplier selection for all Outsourced Assemblies, with primary focus on

PCBA's and Electro Mechanical Assemblies, in support of rapid product development and the delivery of finished

goods for multiple manufacturing locations. Worked closely with other business units within the company to

successfully integrate a new product line into ADIC. Worked directly with Sales and Marketing units to develop

and communicate forecast and production activity with contract manufacturers. Successfully managed all Supply

Chain activities, including test and design compliance, cost and value engineering, and the coordination of

inventory and logistics planning for the new product introduction of ADIC’s Pathlight VX disk based storage

solution.

Accomplishments:

• Successfully integrated new product offering as supply chain project manager, generating significant additional revenue

for the company.

• Re structured several key inventory items onto VOI programs (Vendor Owned Inventory) which helped to reduce

inventory by 12%.
