CompactLogix PLC’s and Safety PLC’s for Rockwell Automation, including testing Ver. 22 of Logix

5000. Design team member of new product development, including a preliminary test stand using a

(Contract) July 2012 to April 2013: PLC / Controls Start up support for a new Installation of Robotic

Production Cells for BMW Automotive Body Systems. Cells incorporated Allen Bradley ControlLogix

PLC’s, GuardLogix Saftey PLC’s, Kuka Robot’s performing Complex Assembly and Tooling task,

Ethernet I/O systems, Panelview Plus HMI’s and Sick Safety Scanners. Project consisted of very

complex software standards that consist of a series of sequencer’s controlling every operation within

the Cells. Sequencer’s are controlled and manipulated through Excel Spreadsheets. Software also

contains a series of Add On Instructions and Alias tagging to maintain transparencies within each cell

and HMI Displays. Software packages included Rockwell RSLogix 5000, Rockwell Factory Talk Studio,

RSNetWorx and Sick CDS Software.

Michelin North America Lexington, SC PLC Programmer/Controls Start-up Support

(Contract) April 2012 to July 2012: PLC / Controls Start up support for a new and complex Tire

Production Cell. The Cell incorporated Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLC’s, Pilz Saftey PLC’s, Devicenet

I/O, PanelView Plus HMI’s, Kentics and Powerflex and Ethernet PLC communications. Followed very

stringent guidelines for Machine Power up, Device and Safety commissioning, I/O check out and
