P rocess the moves of production parts and other assembly materials into and out of storage

locations. Updates the status of inventory for incoming production parts for assembly lines

and emergent projects. Control the f low of materials using multiple automated systems

(Velocity, Order manager, SRIT, ERP, ETRAC, TMC and Ki ts. Make physical t ransactions of

parts per assembly and engineering. K i t t ing composite structural components, and sub-

assemblies as necessary for job completion. Wire cutting and Labeling (color Markers and

L abel); Prepare and repair wire harness. Process the Pick sheets from emergent ki t request.

M aking wire kits for emergent assembly. Ordering and shipping parts as required. Also

control the movement of nonconformance material to and from the MRP crib. Update

revision level of NC material. Pick and deliver parts from receiving to require Ai rplane

l ines. Correspond with the Lead technician to ensure part delivery and prevention of down

t ime.

Facilitate the gauge recall and calibration process.

Perform the inspection of purchased parts and finished goods.

P rogram and operate the coordinate-measuring machine (Zeiss Eclispe CMM.)

W rite purchased part inspection plans and process level 3 procedures.

Perform gauge repeatability and reproducibility studies.

Test and review customer returns for root cause failure analysis using 7 step procedures.

Participate in cross-functional six sigma problem solving activities (5m Man, method,

material, machine and Mother Nature). NDT testing for internal and external testing

activities for all Nonconformance material. Disposition (supplier and assembly defects) the

Nonconformance material to the MRB crib for housekeeping. Monitor movement of supplier

material using SAP. Document and maintain forms, databases and reports for assigned

t asks to include, product change implementation; material hold tags, SAP block stock

t ransaction request; shipping request and Material Review Board Crib inventory.

Coordinate with product development engineers’ teardown analysis and corrective action

(CAR request).

Customer claims investigator (WARRANTY):

A nalyze customer returns and determining disposition (customer defect, supplier or

assembly); and request corrective action. Run Endurance Test Cell performing multiple

tests and set up changeover. Perform the teardown analysis on failed cores to determine

cause. Provide fact finding reports and corrective action. Correspond with engineering

(assembly and product development) for six sigma corrective action projects. The lead

technician for Quality control, Production and PD operations ISO and QS- 9000 procedures.

Records MRB assembly scrap, documents control and prevention progress. Perform Process

audits per assembly and final assembly. Perform Safety Audits per workstation and dock

audits for shipping; and receiving materials.
