Frontier Communications Contract Work

. Contracted to work primarily on System Conversion for Frontier

Communications who is one of the largest independent providers of

telecommunications services for both Residential and Business

customers. My role was to assist the team in setting up databases on

the AS400 to receive data from the various platforms such as IBM

Mainframe (IMS & DB2 files, Informix, Directory information, etc.).

This data was then processed by the Data Mappers and transformed by

the Informatica team, and finally used in the nightly conversion

process.

. Lead a major conversion projects RHS (right hand side) which is the

AS/400 side.

Run the conversion twice a week. Wrote monitoring programs to monitor the

conversion so that the person monitoring the conversion can get the error

message status via email or text message.

. Converting data coming from different platform sources from outside.

Create conversion environment, design files, CL programs, RPG programs

to convert data and bring into AS/400 systems.

. Duties include heavy use of 400/SQL, 400/CLLE, 400/DB2, 400/RPG ILE

and TURNOVER.

. Maintain the intranet site to access AS/400 data through intranet.

Some HTML coding involved.

. Wrote RPG/ILE, SQL programs to process the Super media directory

creating several type of listings such as Caption, Straight Line,

BTN's etc. and for Service Orders.

Applications. Modified existing programs to improve performance in

. Hired as a Sr. Developer to work at their client (CVS Caremark) site

in Richardson on the RxClaim System. Lead different projects in

developing new functionalities and modifying exiting functionalities

to meet the client requirements and Government regulations. Worked as

a Project Lead to major improvement to the CVS RXCLAIM system which is

an AS/400 based system.

. Major Areas Worked on:

. RXCLAIM adjudication system. Specifically worked on Aetna Med-D

projects. Project includes TF reporting, Reject reporting etc. Manage
