TA Service Engineer-DISH NETWORK LLC-SERVICE DEPARTMENT (02/2012-12/2013)

Performed a variety of engineering tasks related to tester developments, functional test

developments, supporting execution, and performance testing. Transfer from Test Development to

Production. Primary focus on RF products.

Mentors and guides junior engineers on test engineering best practices with desmonstrated initiative

to meet project objectives and timelines.

• Lead Project Engineer of BIGRED (SMART box):

o The commercial receiver will be used by Dish Business to deliver Audio and Video

signals to a customer site. Allow DISH to comfortably provide an SLA for A/V

delivery. Inherently based on IP delivery of A/V signals. Simplified install,

operation, monitoring and maintenance.

• SW Development Project:

o Development Labview SW for Router testing on both cables and wireless.

Accomplished in two weeks for Production Floor.

o Working with Hughes SW team to develop the new SW for Broadband test station.

• Lead Project Engineer of Dish Net:

o Analyze and unserstand customer designs and requirements; redevelopment the Test

Systems to improve stablelization. Support the daily activities. Tester capacity

analysis, failure data analysis and improvement plan; the systems are never down

more than 4 hours.

• Service Engineer Role:

o Training new Engineer Level II. Supporting an ADI systems, Jupiter Test Fixtures.

o Analyze factory failure data for continuous process improvement; solve factories

process issues though the use of critical thinking, conduct research and follow-up on

parts and materials needs. Create tester documentation and procedure development.

o Root cause, failure analysis to replicate failure/complaint, validation (looped testing-

multiple passed and cycles) within failing population and at the end, recommend

solution to the customer.
