Manage/direct all Facilities, EHS and Security programs for four facilities in three states requiring 50% travel.

Provide budgetary and strategic planning and controls for the support of physical plant operations including

staffing and resource allocation for production equipment, research and development operations, buildings,

grounds, energy management, life safety, and security to promote and protect the quality of life of the company’s

employees. Act as representative and subject matter expert for transactions with federal, state and local

governmental agencies, real estate, construction and contractor interface for the integration of facility services.

Implement staff leadership and development for EHS compliance and the implementation of best practices

through the development of critical programs and all related policies and procedures. Implement continuous

improvement through numerous key programs including Emergency Management, Business Contingency and

Life Safety programs. Eliminate environmental issues for waste, air emissions and wastewater sources. Introduce

industrial hygiene and ergonomic practices as well as train management and employees to OSHA 10 & 30 Hour

certification. Initiate facilities improvement programs for preventative maintenance, 5 x 5 skills sets, and work

American Sugar Refinery Company (Domino Sugar) 2008 - 2009

Regional Safety Manager for six facilities covering five states requiring 60% travel. Responsibilities included the

safety and environmental compliance for all Non-Refinery operations including the interaction with OSHA, EPA,

DOT, BWC, as well as all local regulatory agencies. Developed all Non-Refinery Operations emergency response

programs and worked with corporate risk management resources and consultants to identify and resolve

significant potential risks. Lead facility EHS audits and worked with local business managers and site teams to

drive corrective actions. Developed and delivered Safety and Environmental training to management and
