Sereng is a mid-size consulting and engineering company established in Vitória, Brazil. As a project manager I

am accountable for directing and managing a team o multidisciplinary professionals in a cross functional

organization, developed to provide engineering projects in different disciplines such as Process, Mechanical,

Piping, Electrical, Process Control and Civil Engineering (Infrastructure, steel structures and architecture)

mainly orientated to clients in industrial areas and across their entire investment life-cycle. Focus sectors extend

from pulp & paper, mining & metals to chemicals, working with clients, leaders in their industrial markets, such

as VALE (leader in the production of iron ore and the second largest producer of nickel), FIBRIA (The world’s

I worked as a Civil works coordinator (part of project management team) for Canexus Química Brasil (former

Nexen), a chemical company, during the expansion project of its mill located in Aracruz, Esprito Santo, Brazil, in

2001. Coordinating and managing all interactions between the project and all related stakeholders, mainly,

Engineering Design company (a company located in Canada), civil contractors, other engineering disciplines

involved (process, mechanical, electrical and process control), and mill operations. All civil works were

successfully delivered.

The Urban Development Institute (IDU), is a decentralized public establishment linked to the City Hall of

Bogotá, Colombia. The IDU is responsible for executing road works and public urban spaces for the development

of the Colombia’s capital city.

I worked as a IDU’s project coordinator for three major new avenues construction projects that were successfully

implemented, through leading a team of design and constructors companies, and a complex stakeholders

management, achieving the main objectives of develop sustainable projects to improve mobility conditions in

terms of equity, integration, security and accessibility of the inhabitants of the Capital District of Bogotá, through

the construction of infrastructure systems mobility and public spaces. All three projects were recognized as

milestones in urban design in the city of Bogotá.
