Designed, implemented and maintained warehouse dimensional schema and ETL for both User

Rights Review (URR) and Vulnerability scan data

DbProtect scans target databases and generates valuable URR and Vulnerability data. Worked with product

management in developing and reviewing user stories to address current and future customer requirements .

Data warehouse was designed using Kimball’s dimensional model and bus architectures to optimize

performance and user experience. This model is open and flexible to support agility of the product to

address customer needs in the future. Documentation for data model is automatically generated for internal

and external use to ensure appropriate usages of data.

Designed and verified Warehouse automated test cases to ensure data quality

Researched off-the-selves tools for data quality and finally developed in-house automated tool to support

extensive test cases. Data quality and consistency were tested at various levels - starting from raw data

collection to presentation of roll-up data.

Developed awareness for peer groups and clients to improve understanding of BI/DW dimensional

model

Purpose- and structure-wise, DW dimensional model is vastly different from operational normalized data

model. Discussion and blogs are developed to help cross-functional teams and the clients to understand the

data and its authenticity.

This minimized the involvement of support team and critical production down -time. These tools compare

the base schema against the target schema using schema signature and also validate the data. It produces

Developed organization-level best practice for schema design and templates for developing programmable
