2011 - Present, Independent Consultant

Contracted with FlexTek Resources. Completed LAN cabling work and installed

Unified Communication system. Contracted with J. M. Neil as a construction

inspector for Sprint as it upgraded its cell sites to 4G.

2009 -2010, MIDCOM, Communication Technician

Subcontracted to Lockheed Martin at the Stennis Space Center. Maintain and

facilitate moves, changes, and deletes of telephone lines for the ODIN

contract. Trouble shoots telephone issues. Maintain records of changes on

fiber and copper cable for the space center. Complete daily tickets for

telephone issues. Performs morning and evening routines for telephone

switch.

2007 - 2008, Getronics, Communication Technician

Subcontracted to Chevron. Performed telephone and LAN moves. Incorporated

changes in Nortel switch and maintained records. Played a major role in

the move of offices in N. O. to Covington. Created and maintained records

of new IP Phone system, LAN, and Server connections. Installed T1 and DSL

circuits. Made decisions concerning contractors and billing issues.

2007, Paragon Project Resources, Resident Inspector

Inspect all work performed by contractors involved in the upgrade of

security equipment at the New Orleans International Airport. Ensure that

all work meets the standards outlined by contract specifications. Complete

daily reports to Project Manager as to the scope of work completed and to

identify issues early. Participate in security and construction project

meetings.

1992 - 2007, Canadian National Railroad, Equipment Technician

Coordinated and supervised all contractors to complete fiber & copper cable

and constructions projects on time. Maintained LAN & WAN systems. Created

connections, installed, and tested Cat 5 Cables. Worked with IT to

troubleshoot, replace, and upgrade Network Routers and Switches. Installed

and repaired Nortel OC-3 and Newbridge Multiplexers. Wired in data and

voice circuits connecting to company network. Installed and monitored back-

up power supply systems. Maintained and repaired Ericson Phone Switch for

over a 100 phone lines. Installed and managed daily operation of new Phone

Switch including upgrades. Created and maintained related records in Excel

worksheets. Maintained all T-1 and Analog Lease Lines including
