6 Description:

Work Flow Data Staging provides a comprehensive data foundation for all Supply

Planning at Intel enabling an agile build plan business processes. WFDS is on Teradata’s

Master Data Management and provides a centralized place to sync, clean and complete data

BEFORE it gets moved to the various use cases.

Sub-Project1 : WFDS Schedule IT Reports

Responsibility:

There are about 75+ reports in this project.

The reports cater different set of planners like, Subcon planners,Material

Planners,Chipset Planners and MWG(Mobile Wireless group) Planers.

Reports helps in Studying and reporting out trending of Subcon performance

as well as Demand performance for Pricing and Supply Chain loading

strategies

Most reports compare data between Actuals and Schedules data.

Sub-Project 2 : WFDS Teradata

Responsibility:

Altered the Stored Procedures to include the new columns as per business

requirement.

Created Stored Procedures which are to be called from Teradata MDM UI .

Changed the view and table definition to get the new columns and hence

archive the data for a longer time period.

Sub-Project 3 : WFDS AbInitio

Responsibility:

Changed the existing AI graphs to cater the newly added columns to the

source and Target tables.

Learnt of debugging the AI errors while encountered in executing the graphs.

10 Intel being a manufacturing company is keen on reducing the cycle time

(shipment time between different sites) between sites.

Gap is a retailer, which operates stores selling Casual / Fashion apparel for men, women and

children under five brand names like GAP, GAPKIDS, BABYGAP, BANANA REPUBLIC, OLD

NAVY, PIPERLIME and ATHLETA Clothing Co. GAP has outlets throughout the United States,

Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany and Japan.

The objective of FI Reporting is to implement an integrated merchandise supply chain

solution to enable business growth and flexibility, to improve inventory visibility and

accuracy, to integrate unit and financial inventory, to enable exception management, and

to forecast customer demand.Based on these information inventory goods will be

produced.

Gap has opened it’s first store in CHINA and wanted to analyze the store

performance,customer satisfaction,Sales and Inventory, Forecasted sales data using

microstrategy reports. Our team was responsibl for the creation of Grid reports,

Documents and Dashboards for the analysis.

Responsibilities:

Understand the business questions to be answered as a part of BI analytics having

series of meeting with the user. Make sure that the data needed for the BI reports are

captured as a part of Data in. If not facilitate the Data In process.

Create report templates using mock up data and get it verified from the user to make

sure that is what they want. Have a green flag, initiate the development process.

Once the report has been created analyse the SQL generated by the tool to ensure

the correctness of the data.

Tracks time and fulfils required status reporting requirements. Estimates tasks for

SUPERVALU nationwide network of approximately 2,500 retail stores embodies the full

range of grocery retailing formats, blending value and service .

Six Sigma is a process that uses statistical analysis to help determine the true

CAUSES of inefficiency in business practices. SixSigma certified black belts looks to improve

the business by reducing shrink, waste of labour and money.

Web based request form are raised by the black belts mentioning the column names, store

num and the time period for which the report is to be prepared.

There are about 80 requests which are to be delivered on both weekly and monthly basis to

compare the improvement in the process.
