Provided a comprehensive strategic analysis of Wal-Mart's global

sustainability strategy. Analyzed the supplier's role within the network,

and identified how Wal-Mart was able to motivate their supplier's to make

sustainability investments on their own. Also provided alternative

approaches Wal-Mart could use towards improving its value chain.

. Process Improvement Project

Analyzed National Machine Group's aerospace industry, and helped improve

specific processes by eliminating non-value added activities. The

recommendations I provided were able to save employees time and effort

with the receiving process by reorganizing the inspected inventory, and

simplifying the ordering process within each department.

. Commodity Strategy Paper

Developed a Commodity Strategy report for Ford Motor Company. Assumed

position as a buyer with a group, and together prepared the necessary

information in order to produce a set of recommendations to strategically

source steel.

. Target: Case Study Report

Researched Target's replenishment process and presented solutions in

order to increase efficiency with their seasonal stock outs. Was

personally able to visit Target's Phoenix Distribution Center to see

their replenishment and distribution process.

. Littlefield Technologies Project

Littlefield Technologies is a web-based factory simulator that allowed me

to practice operations management of a workstation factory. I was able to

establish material control settings, equipment capacity, and sales

contracts. The overall goal was to achieve the highest net profit for the

factory, given past demand and several other variables.

. Assistant to the Director of Sales in the fast-pace environment of a

Textile Distribution Company.

. Monitor customer trends and identify opportunities in order to increase

new clients.

. Provide ongoing support by preparing proper documentation for shipments

to international and domestic customers.

. Monitor shipments and follow up on deal status with customers, and also

help resolve shipment related issues.
