EXPERIENCES:

I have been in the Hotel industry for the past thirty-six years I have crossed trained in the

Front Office, Purchasing, Sales and Marketing during my 10 years with the Hyatt Regency

Dubai and well versatile with all operational procedures and training skills in this field.

I have been a member of the Opening Team of the Ajman Kempinski Hotel and Resort and

was sent to the London Kensington Kempinski in May 1999 to represent the Housekeeping

pre opening task force.

In December 1999 I was selected by Rotana Group of Hotels (Mid-East base chain) to be

their Executive Housekeeper and a member of the pre-opening team of Sharjah Rotana

Hotel. In August 2000 I was further more given a challenging position to be the Executive

Housekeeper of The Rihab and Rimal Rotana Suites in Dubai until migrating to the United

States in January 2002, which has 134 and 124 Guestrooms each.

Prior to my present Position as General Manager of Comfort Suites San Clement I worked

with the Quality Inn San Francisco ( 90 Bedrooms) as a Front Desk Manager handling all

Front office duties independently and fully versatile with the Choice Hotels Profit Manager

program in Reservation and Accounting systems.

Scope of Work:

Ensure that all Standards are met by consistent training with staff and motivation, keeping

in line with all safety laws and preventions, keeping cost low in order to gain higher

returns.

Front Desk Staff – Night Auditor – Housekeeping Staff – Maintenance Staff

Limits of Authority:

Hiring prior to approval, Capital Expenditure

Main Duties:

Ensure that all financial reports are correctively audited and filed, banking records

and statements checked periodically

To update Rates and Inventory, check locally on market segment with per diem rate

to meet with other flag hotels

Update staff with promotional activities

Ensure that adequate guest supplies linen and Breakfast supplies are ordered and

purchased.

Co ordinate with the Chamber of Commerce, AAA and local bodies for activities in

the area and attend any mixers, to generate sales.

Share with the Owner any developments within the area and close competitors to

enhance productivity.
