1. Emergency Room

This ward has 10 beds where we receive and manage all emergency cases,

routine admission cases, perform out patient based procedures and transfer

of critically ill patients.

2. Neurology Intensive Care Unit Level-ll

Neurology Intensive care unit has 10 beds where we receive patients who are

sick and need close monitoring. Nurse to patient ratio in this unit is

1:2. Being a staff in this area I used to look after 2 patients per day

3. Neuro and Neuro Surgical wards

This ward has 40 beds where we receive and manage all types of routine

admission cases, discharges of the patients, following the prescribed

orders and transfer of critically ill patients to intensive care unit when

required.

Intensive coronary care unit

This has 10 beds, where we receive patients who are hemodynamically

stable but are suffering from various cardiac disorders. Nurse to patient

ratio is 1:2 as a nurse in this ward used to look after 2 patients per day.
