RE: Hydrotechnical Engineer

Hello:

I am exited about the opportunity see what engineering careers are

available with your clients.

I have approximately 9 years of engineering experience. My fields of

experience include consulting, project engineering,

maintenance/reliability engineering for the heavy industrial and

infrastructure sectors. I also have experience with research and

development, testing rig design, prototyping, testing and fabrication.

In these roles I frequently volunteer for the more complex projects. I

love developing creative multi-disciplinary solutions. Following these

studies through design to construction is my passion. I believe that my

curious and positive work ethic helps me work efficiently in a team or as

a mentor and leader.

My areas of technical experience include pumping, piping, pneumatic

conveying, dust collection, and HVAC design. My most recent experiences

are for consulting in the mining and minerals sector as a mechanical

engineer. I am a CaesarII pipe stress analyst and have extensive

experience with sizing /specification of mechanical equipment.

I have experience with managing contracted work to inspect and ensure

adherence to contractual documents. Examples include piping/pipeline

fabrication/installation, tank and pressure vessel inspections,

mechanical equipment fabrication/installation/rebuild. In addition to

scheduled maintenance methodologies, I have experience with predictive

techniques such as vibration analysis & lubrication analysis.

I am registered as a P.Eng in Ontario and Saskatchewan and would be

eligible for registration in Alberta. My family has a strong preference

to return to Alberta and Edmonton in particular. Although relocation

allowance would be nice, it is not required.

My wife already has accepted an offer for employment in Edmonton. Her

start date is flexible and we are aiming to relocate in July or August of

2013

I look forward to talk with you,

Sincerely,

Stuart Gilbert, MSc, P Eng
