Monitored, expedited, and updated largest customer (Sprint/ Nextel) on
status of current orders. Ensured orders for cell phone tower components
were produced and shipped to meet or exceed customer expectations whenever
possible. Project for specific position was delayed for 9-12 months
therefore position was eliminated.
Worthington Cylinder CORPORATION - Columbus, OH
Plant Scheduler - Columbus Plant (1998 - 2011)
Managed plant scheduling functions of a manufacturing facility with annual
sales of $70 Million. Job duties included plant scheduling and capacity
planning for all production lines.
. Maintained high productivity and customer satisfaction by ensuring
just-in-time (JIT) delivery of all corrugated and liquid helium
deliveries from supplier.
. Maintained spreadsheets for production totals, production line
averages, and status against monthly and annual production plans.
. Maintained 98% or better on-time delivery for last ten years by
working daily with sales team to expedite critical customer
shipments, and review current plant capacities. Helped implement
and maintain a production and inventory plan to assist in meeting
demand during peak seasons.
. Maintained production requirements during consolidation of

by assisting in coordination of plant production during the
transition.

Managed production of all welding lines. Supervised two hourly production
leaders and over 40 hourly production associates, including all performance
evaluations.

requirements, including expediting of critical components.
Previous experience included work as a Production Associate at the Columbus
Plant, working in all areas of welding line manufacturing. Trained new
employees and assisted production supervisor with job assignments and
troubleshooting equipment. Promoted to Supervisor based on performance.
