Career Bio:

A highly regarded executive and community leader, Mr. Silva heads up Big Embassy LLC, an

innovative creative and strategic brand consultancy in the evolving ad field. Big Embassy was

born out of the highly regarded Berlin-School of Creative Leadership program which he

completed in 2012.

One of the first executives to join LatinWorks Marketing, Mr. Silva played a key role in

directing the company’s growth and operation into what is widely considered to be the premier multicultural

advertising agency in the industry. Mr. Silva was also responsible for carrying out the firm’s strategic and financial

management operation. With a strong focus on attracting and developing top talent, Mr. Silva anchored a strong

leadership team that remained well informed, incented and designed to achieve.

Among his contributions, Mr. Silva is credited with completing the agency’s equity partnership with advertising holding

company giant, Omnicom Group (NYSE:OMC), the agency’s acquisition of Dallas ad agency, Cultura Group, and the

implementation of innovative technology solutions and tools across the organization.

W ithin his role as Chief Financial Officer, he was part of a team that negotiated successful long term partnerships with

an envious international roster of clients: Anheuser-Busch/In-Bev, General Motors, Texas Lottery, Domino’s Pizza,

Capital One, Kimberly Clark, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Burger King, Mars/Wrigley, Bacardi USA, Heinz, PepsiCo and

Post Foods.

Under his tenure, he collaborated with top advertising firms such as BBDO (Mars/Wrigley), Crispin-Porter Bogusky

(Domino’s Pizza, Burger King), JWT (Kimberly Clark) Goodby Silverstein (GM) and TBWA (Mars/Wrigley).

In 2009 he led the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX, a CRM tool which applied radical changes in company

workflow and accounting practices across locations. In addition, he launched a SharePoint-based, visually rich intranet

which streamlined LatinWorks’ operation.
