My architecture and planning experience at Atkins/PBS&J includes extensive project management, programming

I-4/Selmon Expressway Interchange "I-4 Connector", Tampa, Florida (Florida Department of Transportation
[FDOT] District Seven). - Project duration 7+ Years
My role for the project was to design and manage all architectural aspects of the job including: the 7th Avenue
Gateways, Toll Gantry, and the architectural aesthetic lighting. As architectural project manager, I was responsible
for the preparation of the architectural project scope, design fee development, preliminary and final construction
plans for the I-4/Selmon Connector Interchange. Additionally I was also responsible for coordination with
roadway and bridge engineers and FDOT standards; client and consultant meetings; public involvement;
programming; conceptual design; code and product research, specifications; management of architectural
subconsultants; electronic delivery processing, and design documentation from project kickoff to 100 percent
construction document phase including post design services. I functioned as an advisor to guide the hardscape
development. The project is a high-profile, complex, multi-level, directional interchange located near downtown
Tampa and Ybor City.

Project Architect/Designer
As a project architect and designer I was in charge of design, detailing, 3D modeling, rendering, material and finish
selection, and consultant coordination. I led the design team and engineering coordination meetings from the programming
and design development phases to the bidding and negotiation phase.
