proper staffing requirements are met to handle backlog. Perform role of Group Operations Manager until position is

filled. In two years as Construction Manager I grew the Security Systems Group as follows: five Project Managers, one

Project Engineer, three Engineering Assistants, twelve Systems Specialists and four Installers. I advanced to Group

Operations Manager and promoted one of the Project Managers I had hired to Construction Manager.

Project Engineer

Design, engineer and estimate drawings for Fire Life Safety, Security, Access Control, CCTV, Paging, Intercom and

Nurse Call Systems on design-build projects as well as review and estimate planned and specified jobs. Create

submittal packages for owners, architects, consultants and AHJs. Apply for and obtain required building permits prior to

mobilization of project. Coordinate with drafting department to keep drawings up to date with change orders as project

progresses. Assist Project Manager in all aspects of project including mobilization by maintaining extensive contact

with vendors, field employees and local jurisdictions. Provide all closeout documentation including signed off final

inspections, certificates of completion, as-built drawings and operation and maintenance manuals. I was promoted to

Project Manager after six months as a Project Engineer.
