Demilitarization Facility. URS (ANCDF) is currently in closure as the
project is reaching completion. I have 26 years of experience in

hazardous worksite activities and over 20 years of military service
with experience encompassing: work package development,

EMPLOYMENT & EXPERIENCE

Work Week Analyst -URS, WANCDF Anniston-
At the Chemical Disposal Facility in Anniston AL. Responsibilities include planning
and coordinating work procedures, scheduling, cost control, equipment
specification conformity, establishment of manpower levels, obtaining or
ensuring delivery of necessary materials to support maintenance, and
maintaining accurate records. Coordinate movement and use of equipment and
implement company policies and procedures, establish repair and overhaul
practices. Support the project by performing analysis of maintenance requests,
schedules and coordinate all required preventive and corrective tasks for
maintenance. I helped to reduce the equipment repair backlog by also
performing work package development (planning) in conjunction with normal
assigned task. I improved production and reduced delays by adding caution and
safety warnings to appropriate work steps. I also conducted parts walk downs for
all planned work packages identifying numerous errors in warehouse inventory
and worked with warehouse to make corrections greatly reducing work delays
due to incorrect parts issues. I chair meetings and perform duties as Senior
Planner and Work Control Manager in their absence. I served one year as
Mechanical & Robotics Maintenance Technician- URS, WANCDF Anniston -

Crew Chief for pipe cleaning, lining, and inspection crew. I was responsible for
supervising 10 crew members and the logistics for vehicles with associated
equipment and crew of workers for over the road travel throughout Florida.
June 1986-June 2006- United States Navy- Gas Turbine Technician; Correctional
Custody Specialist; Lead Instructor-
I received a total of six Navy Achievement Medals for performing duties above
and beyond my
assigned duties over my 20 year career. I obtained certification as an instructor
for fuel oil testing and analysis, damage control, boiler water chemistry, quality
assurance, fire fighting, and CBR (chemical, biological, and radioactive) training.
I served as Engineering Officer of the Watch (same as Plant Shift Manager) and
Lock Out program supervisor, and Quality Assurance Inspector. Maintained
computerized maintenance management systems and gas turbine logs. I
analyzed, planned, scheduled, all aspects of power-plant maintenance
interfacing with contractors and military representatives. Served as Brig
Administrative Officer, responsible for all correspondences, staff records, and
prisoner records. Operated, repaired, and performed maintenance on
mechanical components of gas turbine engines, main propulsion machinery,
auxiliary equipment, and propulsion control systems. I coordinated and
controlled operations of engineering systems locally and remotely; supervised
the receiving, transferring, discharging, and storage of propulsion fuels and
lubricants; trained and supervised personnel in the operation of engineering
control systems; maintained, inspected, and monitored all systems; maintained
records and prepared maintenance schedules.
